Who cares if they match,

Biendris, Smith, Okafor, even Ellis, offer them a deal, that you think the other team will match, but more than they were originally going to spend, just to hurt their salary cap. Then get a stopgap PF, and wait till the following year and go after FA's.

Say Biendris was originally offered 5/50, offer him 5/55 or 5/60, just to hurt their ability to do anything else from now on.
