It's been pretty well documented that I'm not big on Maggette at all so I'm not sad to see him go and wish him the best of luck in a better system...except if it hurts the Clippers in their division.
I think statistically, he'll do very well under Don Nelson. I just don't think he will ever be an impact player who can lead a team and definitely not an all-star.

Yeah, I personally liked him even though he obviously had some flaws to his game (and his strengths.)
He said the right things on the way out as well. Why would anyone bemoan a UFA from leaving, it's completely their perogative to do so. Especially when his minutes always yo-yoed here, plus the Clippers drafted 2 wing players in the last 2 drafts.
He said he even called up the Clippers after the GSW offer, to see if they were interested in matching (which as a UFA he didn't have to do, see Exhibit A: Elton Brand.) But the Clippers said thanks, but no thanks. How's that for ironic?
