Would you do Zach Randolph for the rights to Deandre Jordan?

I think the Clippers probably offered more and still got rejected.

Why would ANY team CONSIDER that? Taking on that kind of salary, a player that only fills offensive needs, and give up the bench guy that could actually provide defence at the position? HELL NO.

Blazer fan here..If I were the Clippers, I would stay away from Zach Randolph. He is a pretty decent offensive player but he takes away from team basketball. His nickname in Portland was "The Black Hole" because when you passed the ball to him down low, it never came back out. His shot selection is terrible, he doesn't play any defense and he doesn't help the chemistry of the team. Baron Davis needs his shots, you put Zach in there and its not going to be pretty. Zach is only effective with the ball in his hands. It has to say a lot when the Knicks only kept him for a year before wanting to shop him around. You guys have a pretty good core of players there, don't mess it up with Randolph or else you could find yourselves trying to find the next sucker GM to take him after next season.

All true about zach, except he's never been on a team where he wasn't the "go-to-guy" in LA he definately wouldn't and I think a star like BDiddy would be able to put him in his place. He puts a lot of work into the game and he's liked in the lockerroom, at least here in NY, so I don't think he's really that bad of an attitude if you've got a star in place to be the guy so Zach doesn't have to try and be the guy and can focus on just being a secondary scorer.

Just a Knicks fan, who unfortunately had to watch ZBo try and carry our disfunctional, uncoached group of basketball players, 's opinion on a guy who's very likely to be headed to your team, I just don't see Atl or Charlotte letting Smith or Okafor go. Plus Kaman really fills in the holes in Zach's game, probably the perfect Center for Zach.

I agree. He is somewhat of a black hole. But you can't deny his 2 assts per game, which is pretty good for a big man. I guess he just pulled that stat out of his black ***hole.

Signing Iggy and trading for Zach would make the Clippers a legit team. Zach won't have to be relied on as much with Baron, Iggy and Kaman there and he'd replace at the very least Brand's scoring and rebounding. But don't expect him to replace his defense and IQ.

I really wish the best for the Clips. As a Knick fan, we both know the pains of having a bad team. Losing a star player for nothing sucks and I hope you guys screw Brand over by signing Iggy. With that said, Zach for expiring and Jordan would be nice, but would you guys ever consider giving up Gordon instead if we added the mighty David Lee?

The only way i'd trade for Randolph is if David Lee is being shipped to us as well.
