can someone explain to me whats up with the clippers cap?

im not clear on how much money the clippers have. i heard that they are still 1 mil under the cap is that true? if they sign skinner will that make them go above the cap and let them use their MLE? do you think theres a possibility that with the MLE the clippers can sign both livingston and ross? id love to see both of them back. we'd need both of them so we could have some more back up players in case there are some injuries which there can be with this team.

so can someone tell me how much money the clips have left to spend before the MLE and if they can sign skinner, livingston, and ross to fill out the roster.

it'd be like this

PG - B.Davis/Hart/Livingston/Taylor
SG - Mobley/Gordon/Ross
SF - Thornton/R.Davis/Thomas
PF - Camby/Thomas/Skinner
C - Kaman/Skinner/Jordan

or something along the lines of that. we'd probably send taylor to the dleague if that happened.

The Clippers don't have an MLE. They rightly renounced it to get cap room.

Clippers are only allowed to offer veteran minimum contracts. If we're looking for another back-up SG that won't really play but will help in practice, I say go after Eric Piatkowski to re-unite with Brian Skinner.

He'd be that perfect Injured Reserve player in the suit. While Mike Taylor & Marcus Williams play for the Anaheim Arsenal.

I really hope that Dunleavy uses the D-League this season. I understand that he wants the young guys to practice with the vets while learning the plays and all of that, but they would benefit from actual playing time as well.

i think mike taylor will spend most of his time in the dleague this year but he will get his time to shine with the clippers.

i also have a question. with the remaining money the clippers have could they sign livingston and ross or just one of them? would either accept the small amount of money we have? i think we really need livingston since taylor will probably be spending most of his time in the dleague and hart isnt that amazing of a back up.
