Fans on the Suns board seem to be disappointed they couldn't keep Skinner. I didn't watch the Suns or Skinner much last year, but they concensus over there is that Skinner is a very solid player. Makes me feel even better about this signing.

skinner did very well for the suns last year. he replaced kurt thomas and did a great job. one of the games the lakers played the suns last year skinner was making a lot of baskets getting board and blocks and then doing all the dirty work. i like him a lot as a player and he is an improvement over powell. i just think that powells jumpshot developed a lot last year and is probably better than skinners.

for the last 2 roster spaces id like either cassell or livingston and then ross. id love to have all three of them to have more players from that run in 06, but theres no use for 4 pgs (taylors going to the dleague) because then we'll have the same problem the rockets had.

Since the Clips are going with Skinner. Another good move by the Clips. Teams need depth to stay afloat in this league.

Damn, I thought Powell was really improving and should've been kept. He's sort of a smaller, poor man's version of Chris Wilcox. I saw some really athletic moves from him, and I think he would've benefitted from an uptempo style with Davis running the point. Oh well, I'm sure he'll be picked up by another team. I'm happy about the Skinner pick up. He's a real physcial player and does a lot of the dirty work, which every team needs.

Powell will get signed by some one. He has proved that he is an NBA player so no worries there.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!
