shaun livingston needs to get booed. this guy thinks he's too good for the clippers. turns down guaranteed money and all his comments have had a "im going to leave no matter what" tone.

You know, Det the Threat, if that revolting slimy sleazebag Clay Bennett ever sets foot on the Staples Center floor at a Clippers game, I'm all for rattling the rafters with boos.
But as for the players --- they have to put a good face on what's happened to them, but they didn't want this either. It hardly seems fair to take it out on them.

You're right, and i was thinking more of Bennett, then the players as well.

Though, i just can't wish that team well, cause that would mean, that Bennett and his cronies would profit off it as well.

I couldn't boo Shaun, not after he even gave his kneecap in the service of the Clippers.
If he wants a fresh start, at least he didn't pretend otherwise, dictate terms and then jump ship like some others we could mention.
But all these things are very personal, and if you need to boo him, dcash4, then do what you have to do.

For me, it depends on what he does. If he takes similar or less money somewhere else, I'll have to boo him. Not as much as Brand or Odom or miller but I just won't like very much if he does that. That's just me. If he gets a huge contract from some other team though, I can understand that.

Yeah I kinda didn't like how he said it... We offered him a guaranteed contract, and most likely a good backup role for this coming season. I think he's scared to prove that he can stay healthy or play like he did before.

If he wants more money.. then well... He did get paid just for rehab last season. I still don't buy all that talk from athletes cause no one is forcing them to live that luxurious lifestyle. Didn't he make like $4M last season?

Either way I've grown to like him less as time passes. We supported him pretty well, but since he doesn't want to stay I'm ready to move on. I wish he has a healthy career, but that's about it. :P

If I added up all the games he's played with us so far correctly. He wouldn't have even completed 2 full seasons with us for the 4 years he's been here. How bad is that?

Yeah, I think Shauna Livingston needs to get booed. I reccomend people call him a primadona. People called him that in high school when he got hurt and switched schools. I think called him that would get to him. I used to have Shauna's back as much as anybody, but I can't help but want to boo him given the chance.

Didn't Elgin blast him too, saying he had "character issues" ? This will be going on 5 years since Lamar play for your squad, like Laker fans did with Shaq.....................just move on if not then oh well.

I'd say smoking weed and not passing the mandatory drug test is a character issue. Thinking back to when he broke down and cried during his press conference is hilarious. I felt for him at the time but now it's just funny after he called this basketball hell. We will always remember the players who trashed the Clippers on their way out, there's no way around that.

I did not feel sorry for him. I thought it was a little over done. I was more pissed than anything. From what I remember it was his second offense. I do not understand these players that are making millions and they cannot go without doing drugs. If they need a head change that badly go out and get drunk but do it responsibly.

Add Corey Maggette to the list:

Maggette, a refugee from the Los Angeles Clippers, distracted us with hilarious stories of how hard it was growing up in the NBA as a Clipper, and how ex-Warrior Baron Davis is in for a "rude awakening" down there.

For once, I was going to say Maggette showed some class regarding Dunleavy after leaving but here he is taking little jabs in a Warriors uni. Mr. "I ain't no sixth man." Once a bonehead, always a bonehead.

He should've paid attention during those numerous film sessions. Maybe he would have learned how to play defense once in his stat-stuffing life.

Corey Maggette:

What is the biggest transition from the Clippers to the Warriors? (I thought he'd talk about teammates or coaching, stuff like that. No way):

"The biggest transition is to have 24-hour access to a gym, which I never had. (At the Clippers) our access was done by 1:00 pm."

How much will he use the Warriors gym?

"Actually, I was planning on spending the night, get me one of those air mattresses."

When did he get the key to the gym?

"Got it the first day I was signed and then I was here that night. Stephen Jackson was here too. We had staff waiting on us. At the Clippers we played at a fitness center until 1:00 pm, then we had to sign up and play (with other people). I was dominating all those years, had some 40-year-olds and 50-year-olds. This is going to be a big transition year for Baron Davis. Yes, yes, I think he's in for a rude awakening. I wish him the best."

You don't get the feeling Maggette misses the Clippers who, according to him, are kind of rinky-dink.

fair assessment from magz about the practice facility. however, baron being in for a rude awakening? apparently magz wasn't paying attention when the clips were in the process of finish up the new practice building.

I think some of Maggette's complaints are justified, but I'm disappointed with others. When he first joined the Warriors, the training facility and the 24-hour access is one of the things that he was most excited about, so I'm not surprised to hear him mention that. Baron won't have to deal with sharing a public facility like Corey did, so he won't have to be playing with 40 & 50 year olds. He also complained about Dunleavy's practices. Dunleavy has the team watching film for about 45 mins before picking up a ball, and we are all familiar with his coaching style. Nellie is the total opposite. Maggette is neither big on pre-game preparation, taking direction nor focusing on defense, so I can easily see him making those comments. Hopefully Corey will be in for a rude awakening when the Warriors come to LA.

Maggette obviously doesn't know that the Clippers practice facility is done. I'm glad that douche never had the pleasure of stepping foot into that place...wouldn't want to taint it. The same goes for Benedict Brand.
