Seems Miami no longer wants him. Are there still any teams interested? I think he kinda screwed himself when he declined our guaranteed offer.

Yesterday morning when I logged on, the wiretap read, "Miami Leaning Toward Livingston?" And today, it reads, "Miami No Longer Interested in Livingston?" Now this is just getting funny. I'm rooting for the guy and all, but its hilarious how he can't catch one single flippin' break. Just goes to show, you get what you give...shoulda taken the deal baby boy!

Agreed
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

The Wolves opened training camp with a 2 1/2-hour workout this morning in Mankato in a collegiate building named after their owner (heck, he even has his own permanent parking-space sign outside) and the door that Kevin McHale and Jim Stack said had closed on Shaun Livingston Monday appeared to creak open just a little on Tuesday.

On Monday, both men said Livingston was going to sign with Miami, but the Heat have given no indication that’s going to happen. On Tuesday, as far as we know, Livingston remains unsigned.

“I don’t know, who knows?” McHale said when asked if the Wolves’ pursuit of the unrestricted free agent is over. “You’d think so, but he hasn’t signed anywhere.”

The Los Angeles Clippers, the team for which he played his first three seasons before missing all of last season with a severe knee injury, could still be in the running.

*Shaun Livingston remains unsigned, but my bet is that he signs with Miami. Forget all that stuff Pat Riley said yesterday about his going to the Heat being a “dead issue.” Just remember all that silliness about Michael Beasley at draft time; whatever he says, you can usually believe the opposite. Since Livingson isn’t ready yet anyway, I’m guessing the Heat are just waiting until they can trade a salary to clear some cap space unless the Wolves decide to sweeten the pot.

The Wolves just added Kevin Ollie to their roster, so I would suspect they won't try to add Livingston now.

Ollie is more likely just an unguaranteed signing for pre-season.

Now that White Chocalate is gone, why can't we offer his money to Shaun and keep him here? We need a 3rd string PG anyway and he needs a job.

I think we might get another PG off waivers or we could sign and trade Livi for another PG or we get a PG free agent.

Either way it goes I will feel ten times better about our season if we have another "READY TO CONTRIBUTE NOW" PG on the floor to help take the load off BD in the long.

I really hope the front office does not leave this issue dead and hopes for the best. I can deal with the lack of offense from the low-post off the bench because our wings can post up and our bigs have a jump shots (except Skinner but he may develop one). But the PG is a must and we need to get someone even if he is considered close to wash-uped that can control his mintues and not give away the game.

Have nothing against Jason Hart, but I loved his role as it was suspected to be as PG 2b not really a third string but an equal level option at PG. We need to keep that PG 2a and 2b mode rolling, plus I'm big on Mike and believe Livi is the past and we should put work and development in Mike Taylor but I don't see him close to coming in and being effective until half the season is complete with development. He needs time.

Also will someone please get in contact with Clipper.com and tell them to update the freakin site, The freakin Bobcats have training footage and updates and we get recent news Paul Davis was signed. Somebody please update the whole look of it as well, add some visuals and music or something it's starting to look outdated. Read somewhere the web manager is sick and recovering well hate to be mean but give the job to the intern or someone until she is ready. Don't tell me you don't have a back-up.

Well I got all that out, everyone enjoy the day lol.

I guess its a matter of his pride. He said himself, unintentional as it may have been, that it was a "fortunate" situation that had him leaving the Clippers. After all that talk, he'd have to swallow a lot of his pride to wind up back in a Clips uni. We were the best spot for him to stay in the first place, and we're probably still the team that would give him the best deal overall. I think its just a matter of him not wanting to be here. I'm sure we have an offer out to him, and he's just refusing to accept it.
