He should be backing up Eric Gordon and he only plays 3 minutes a game. :nonono:

Seriously though, Ricky needs to get his **** together. He's been shooting like garbage on offense and not playing anything resembling D on the other end. Hopefully he'll break out of his slump like...soon.

Ricky is a Tim Thomas type. Serious attitude but not much game. Epitomizes the worst the modern day NBA has to offer. Why Dunleavy is attracted to this type of loser is beyond me.

Ricky is really struggling only thing I can say he is doing is at least he has become a solid passer.

I never thought I would ever write this but it looks like Ricky Davis has lost confidence in his shot. :(
The one thing Ricky never had a lack of is of a ego the guy believes he is the best and even with all his previous stints no one could deny the guy was a scorer. So it seems Ricky can't believe he can make so he makes a nice pass and get the assists and then everyone forgets about it for a while.

I appreciate Ricky is getting the ball in the right places but dude the franchise did not pick you up to be Ricky the "distributer" they paid for Mr. Ricky "Buckets" Davis. Holla at ya boy :) I'm not quite ready to trade him but we need him to pick it up we seems to have a huge lack of offense that he can help build off of.

I've watched Ricky last season in Miami and what you see this year and last year is the same guy. He's not a great shooter but settles for the jumpshot. When he was scoring earlier in his career he was more athletic and attacked the rim. Thats the difference you see now. He's become a jumpshooter. A bad jumpshooter too. Eric Gordon solves the Clippers problem but cant even get minutes. Sad...so sad.

Ricky Davis is not the same shooter as he was last year through 4 games. Just look at his 3-point % . He shot 40% from the 3-point arc last season off of 333 attempts. I'm sorry, but that makes him a good shooter. If he can doing anything, it's shoot the three but he isn't even doing that right now. That's really what we need.

And here I thought he was going to be an immediate contributor, like an x-factor that could win us close games. I really hope he gets his stuff together, and soon. This is not exactly what I pictured when we signed him.

*pictures the Ricky that intentional missed a layup on his own basket to try to get a triple double*

He is off to the worst start of any FA guards they have signed since Hollywood Robinson.
