Los Angeles Clippers
Ticket Affordability: 19th
Team Performance: 24th
Attendance: 14th

It's easy to dismiss a franchise that rarely makes the playoffs and that plays second fiddle to the Lakers in its own city. Yet the mostly bottom-feeding Clippers play to 90% capacity at the Staples Center.

I think you might see that change this year, particularly in this horrific economic climate. I get the sense that fans will stay away in droves if things continue as they are. The announced attendance for the last home game was just over 12,000. That probably means that somewhere around 8 or 9 thousand actually bothered to show up. Can't say I blame them, right now the Clippers are putting out a horrible product that doesn't deserve the support of the fans.

Well I'm glad to see that the fans stay loyal. These huge losses drive me crazy but this will be my time for the rest of my life. We're bound to have some good fortune at some point. I really want to see us win a championship, I just know we have a lot of work ahead of us for that to happen.

Clipper fans have been through way worse seasons than this. Baron Davis makes this team entertaining even in losses...which is more than I can say for Elton Bland.

There's no reason why the fan support this season will be any worse.

I don't know where the 3rd most loyal fans in the NBA nonsense is being determined. The Clippers draw well in large part because they have less expensive seats than the Lakers and many fans relocated from other cities to LA want to watch their favorite team play.

They will probably draw a little less this year than last year due to a bad economy even though I expect the product to be more entertaining and better than a 23 win team.
