I don't think we have a roster that nearly can do what GSW did the last couple of years. Guys like Cutino and Kaman are quality NBA players, but strike no fear in transition (not that an uptempo offense is necessarily superior to a more traditional half-court offense either.)

I don't think we're totally incapable of running, mind you. But our roster is somewhat mixed in that regard.

We just annointed Dunleavy GM, so I don't think things are going to change in that regard.

I think the compatability issue is little overblown and Plashke playing to what folks want to hear. Watching the games, I think Baron is more frustrated with being out of sink with his teammates. He's had few games to mesh with the them let alone the system and their inconsistency (Kaman) must be driving him nuts.

Also, it does't matter how free wheeling and productive we are offensively if we can't guard anyone. Keeping perimeter players in check and boxing out should be a prioirity. Otherwise, you have Camby running around trying to clean up everyone's mess and mediocre PFs thriving off of easy putbacks.

Baron hates the Dunleavys
What was The head coach thinking signing Baron, he ran his kid out of Oakland and nearly got jumped by fans along the way

First Dunleavy Jr,
Next Dunleavy Senior
Good thing Dunleavy the 3rd is dead

That's boring sensible talk! ;)

But yeah, when teams go through long losing stretches like this one, defense is usually a huge culprit...

I think it is pretty clear that Dunleavy needs to be fired. This team is in total disarray

I doubt Dunleavy will be fired because Sterling still owes him a lot of money. Mark Jackson could be a decent coach, but I think a guy that has actually coached before might do better. I actually think Flip Saunders could be a decent coach for a team like the Clippers.

I would actually take Van Gundy over Saunders, but that's just me.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
