Re: Clippers Shopping Kaman?
Kaman is a good NBA center, and his contract is fair.
I do have reservations about what type of game the Clippers want to run, and whether Kaman is ideal for us. We have Baron Davis and a few athletes to play an uptempo game, if Gordon develops well then I'd lean towards uptempo.
In which case I wouldn't mind trading Kaman, but not for questionable contracts. If that's the case, you're much better off keeping Kaman.
The Clippers have some major decisions upcoming. Tim Thomas and Cutino Mobley will be entering the last year of their contracts, and will have good trade value for their contracts. Kaman also has trade value due to his youth and center position. I think it's far likelier for the Clippers to significantly improve this team via a couple of trades, vs. hoping for a big FA in a 2010- no LeBron, Bosh, etc. is going to sign with the Clippers.
I think Baron is the one you really build your offense around. It doesn't have to be run-and-gun, but you don't sign a guy like him to bounce entry passes into the low post. And the current roster doesn't have enough scoring to compete with the better teams.

Re: Clippers Shopping Kaman?
Hey im a Cavs fan, here me out Clipps.
Yall crazy as hell man, yall would rather move Kaman and keep Camby's old ass.
Chris Kaveman is a OX,and he is only 25, never trade someone from the 2003 draft class to justify keeping a old ass.
I don't get nothing out of this, but Kaman and Z-Bo in the front court with Baron at the point put you guys in the playoffs easy.
I would love to have them as my team in the west again, and for the record they are sick on the video game too.
When you guys made that run a few years back I was rooting for the Clipps.
Kaman can control the paint on D and Zach can dominate O.
Don't let NYK talk you in to scenarios that involve Jordan, cause you guys are doing them a favor by taking on Randolph and Crawford.
Please don't trade Kaman...Please.........
It's as simple as this...
Go ahead and give them a first Zach is worth it, but I tell you it will be a late pick cause Clipps will be in the Playoffs.
