I don't think that the Clippers are as bad as their record suggests, and not nearly as bad as this blogger needs them to be in order to get all that drama into the piece of writing.
Sure, they've had a rough start this season.
With two wins under their belt, I expect they are going to get better.
Okay, the coaching situation is far from ideal, but it's an interesting collection of players with a very solid core group. I simply don't subscribe to the idea that they are automatically going to be a disaster for the rest of the season.

the reality is the clippers are flat out bad. ive watched most of the games this season, and when i went to staples to watch the kings and warriors games i was almost embarrased to be a clipper fan. not because we lost but because there was lack of energy, lack of defense, and lack of running any kind of offense. it was the most unorganized uninspiring basketball i have ever seen in my life. on paper we should be a .500 ball club, Dunleavy needs to get his controlling ass out of the picture and hire a new coach...i hate dunleavy

This team is on a two year plan then everybody walks so personally I've been looking at the bigger picture the last three weeks. Considering half the guys on the team are new, the beginning of the schedule was difficult and losing is frustrating no matter who you're playing, it's really not that hard to see why the Clippers are bad right now. I'm not even wasting my time to read that blog. If the Clippers continue to be a bottom 5 team in the league by January, I expect some major changes to the team's core. Unless the Clippers are still this bad by Christmas, reading or writing any "I told you so" garbage is a waste of time IMO.

But if it is a 2-year plan until everyone walks (which I don't think is a good idea), then why would you expect any changes? If the plan is to jettison half the team after contracts run out and then try to attract FA, then 2 bad years will only result in 2 lottery picks to add to the team, before the big FA crop. The easiest way for the Clippers to add talent is to trade TT and Mobley, but doing so would conflict with saving cap space for 2010.

There are some tradeable assets here (TT, CM, Kaman) as well as some genuine talent (BD, Thornton, hopefully Gordon). We also haven't traded any #1 picks away, and have one coming from Minnesota (someday). I'd rather try to work with what we have, I still think the team can be salvaged before waiting 20 months for free agency.

I guess it looks like the Clippers have chosen the latter, trading 2 of those assets for ZR. We'll see how it plays out. I'm expecting this early season re-tool to continue with a possible trade of Kaman. I think they're trying to figure out how to assemble a team that will work best with Baron Davis at PG.
