Thornton is one dimensional, if he can't score, he's garbage out there. Dare I say I miss Maggette? At least he got to the charity stripe to get free points and get opponents in foul trouble. Dissapointing loss, this was a very winnable game.

Looks like we lose again, for the 12th time. We're now 10 games under .500 on the season

WE need a new SF to start send Al to the bench his defense is almost too poor to watch. The guy is a black hole on offense no passing skills or court vision.

Al is my favorite Clipper but come one he is a second year player but he is almost 25 he should have better overall game IQ than he has. Dominating the ball and trying to pass out or force a contested shot late in the shot clock is something he should of left behind rookie season. It also kills rhythm when we actually have it.

Thorton is a very selfish basketball player. Has tons of potential but extremely selfish. I notice he doesn't like to pass to EG either.

If Gordon would have started from the beginning of the season this team may have 2 or 3 more wins.

Dun still hasn't put his fingerprints on this team after injuries have cleared and several game in the books for the season. He isn't that good of an X and O coach.

Thornton's defense is at least better than Maggette's. He's had a good amount of key blocks down the stretch in games. Corey was just allergic to defense.

Kaman is a total knucklehead. He makes bonehead decisions and gets technical fouls and loafs around. I want him gone and quick. Gordon looked great, but this team needs a bench. I like Mike Taylor but we need something at G/F, F & F/C to really put together a run others wise we hit 2-15 this season is done.

Hey, it doesn't hurt to lose anymore after the Philly game. It's like I'm numb. :blank:

Being better then Maggette at D is nothing to be proud of. Even Ryan Bowen is better then Corey at D. With Camby, we don't need highlight blocks, we need solid man D, not getting burned all the damn time like Thornton is, and then taking stupid shots while passing up a wide open J.

99-87 Hornets win. Thornton was very disappointing tonight. He had played pretty nice the 3 last games for us, so I'm trying to cut him some slack. If he was on tonight, the outcome may have been a little different. Gordon finally had his chance to shine, despite having a little setback early on. He came back to score 24 after the ankle injury. He needs to build his confidence on the pro-level. Playing like this and going up against Paul is definitely something to be that be proud of even if the end result was another loss. Speaking of Paul, he just happened to put up another triple double like it was nothing and got one step closer to the consecutive games with 1 steal record. David West always seems to have a monster game against us. I'm surprised that Peja didn't do more than he did, but he didn't really have to. He hit some difficult shots despite not looking so hot from 3. Hopefully on Wednesday we'll have a full roster (well almost). Give us fans something to be thankful for guys.

And yet, we are only 4 games out of the 8th seed. I'm not worried yet. Well, no, that's a lie, I'm worried, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel while it's still November.

And what is this, sabotage? Cuttino Mobley purposely creating heart problems for himself so that the Clips are down two players? Jeez, Cat, let it go man, let it go...

Another loss, another pain in my ass, but WELCOME TO THE NBA ERIC GORDON! Dude has the sweetest shot I've seen since...since myself actually. ;) Unfortunately I won't be around to watch the Z-Bo era unfold, I'll be up somewhere between Fresno and Sacramento for Thanksgiving. Hopefully we get it right against the Nuggs!

It sucks to still be short handed, I'm just glad that Gordon had a break out game. I noticed that we couldn't recover on D whenever the Hornets would set a screen. At this point I don't know what we can do to win. We just seem to have a lot of problems right now.

Were 5.5 out and are bringing in a key piece to the squad, which will take 10 games to be able to have a shot of getting some chemistry together. Its over.

Well to be honest Camby does the same thing defensively. He gambles a lot on defense by letting his defender drive by and trying to swat him from behind or expecting help. This is why many people call him an overrated defender. I've noticed it a lot through these 14 games.

Either way these losses can't be blamed just on 1 person. This is a team game, and I'm sure it wasn't just Thornton who was covering West while he was owning our asses in the 2nd half.

We still gotta remember who our coach is.

Man...4 games, 5.5 games...just details. My point is: we are not mathematically eliminated, so don't start talkin' about the lottery just yet brother. It's November for goodness sake. And that "10 games" number is speculation on your part. Who says it'll take 10 losses before Randolph gets into the swing of things?

"It's over." Psh. Says Mr. Cynic McCynical.

You mocking my name?

I agree though. We still have 70 games to go. Crazier things have happened. I'll wait till game 25-30 to really decide if things are over.

We still have lost of Basketball to play and it's only been a month. Hopefully something starts to click for this team by the end of the season.

Hmm...seems suspiciously like a trade injury to me...you know, those injuries that teams will fake in order to not play a player that they're shopping around (think Al Harrington and his back). But...we can only hope.
