Re: Clippers (3-13) @ Mavericks (8-8)
Im actually pretty pissed that we lossed. This is what? the 5th game we are other leading y a number of points then just come crashing down in the 4th. This happened in the 2nd Lakers game, the Nuggets game, and now this game. There are other games too where we are close and many feel we should have won.
If the Clippers win the championship next year I'm getting banned from RealGM

I'm not that mad, just a way to blow off some steam.
But seriously, if a coach does not understand to attack a zone in the NBA, then he's not good. And no looks to Z-Bo late in the game sucked too.

Tough loss when you guys absolutely dominated most of the game.

So a couple of weeks ago Scratch was suggesting bringing in Flip Saunders. Dunleavy could move into the GM office alone, or out, whichever seems best.
Flip Saunders is looking pretty good to me at this point. I think he would have managed to have last night's game turn out differently.

Sam Cassell would have never let us lose that game. He would have taken control at the end and made the shots necessary.
I put this one on Baron. As the leader of this team, Baron needs to take it to the basket and get fouled. The last shot was horrendous, but we blew it in the last few minutes by standard around on offense and settling for outside shots like we always do.

I've noticed that all we've done is take horrible jump shots at the end of games these past few games. We lost by 1 to Denver, won by 1 against Miami, and lost by 2 to Dallas. I remember in the last minute in each of those games that all we wound up with was a long and tough jump shot that didn't go in.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

This is the wrong way to think about this game. This game should have no come down to that last shot in the first place. Dunleavy must have not mentioned anything about how to break their zone, or to get Zach the ball or anything a coach would do. The point is this: we were up double digits mid-way through the fourth, and we let them back into the game somehow. That should have never happened.
But the game is over with, and lets move on to Houston tonight.
