Miles' anti-drug suspension was actually for his use of Phentermine which is an appetite suppressant.

I remember that Lindsay Hunter was suspended from the Pistons for 10 games for taking the same stuff.
If it's just a diet thing, why does the league slap a 10-game suspension on these guys?

^ A banned substance is a bad substance, I guess. But I think if it's used as a means to get healthy and get back to playing weight, it shouldn't be so taboo. Didn't Pat Riley suspend James Posey and Antoine Walker because they were too "fat?" Damned if you do, damned if you don't right?

Too bad, that would've been funny if we signed him. I'm just curious why all of sudden people were interested in him. He was waived before the season started, how come no one else wanted him then? The Grizz are quietly assembling a nice squad.

Thanks for the info on his suspension. He signed for very little, too bad we didn't get him.

I'm not necessarily expecting much, but would love to see him re-capture just a spark of when he was a Clipper.
