Brand is a awesome player. But when your max-salary franchise player only scores 20ppg, you're screwed. That's why we sucked for so long. That's why the Sixers suck. Brand would be an amazing 2nd or 3rd option on a championship-level team like San Antonio or Boston. But for a team trying to get into the playoffs and using him as their 1st option, they're going to suck. History proves it.
