Z-Bo's done it a bunch of times already. Sure he shoots a lower FG%, but that's because he takes (and sometimes makes) 3 pointers and he's more aggressive. He's also more versatile and creative. His game works in the full-court or the half-court. He can operate with or without the ball inside the paint or outside it. And that makes the entire team better offensively. He's not exactly Karl Malone, but he's way ahead of Brand offensively in most aspects.

Brand is a awesome player. But when your max-salary franchise player only scores 20ppg, you're screwed. That's why we sucked for so long. That's why the Sixers suck. Brand would be an amazing 2nd or 3rd option on a championship-level team like San Antonio or Boston. But for a team trying to get into the playoffs and using him as their 1st option, they're going to suck. History proves it.

I wouldn't say the bold...but Brand is good defensively. But the rest of your post...

Pre-Injury Brand > Zbo
Post-Injury Zbo > Brand

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.
