Clippers down 9 with less than 5 mins left and pick up a 8 second backcourt violation.

It's a sad sight to see a GM hold the fans hostage because he doesn't want to spite his face cutting his nose by firing the coach.

I can't think of a worse coaching job over the course of a season.

Then he insults Chiek Samb by putting him in the last 57sec. I know this is done all the time but what is the point?

I seriously would have words with him after the game.

Clippers fall 79-97. We had a nice performance in the 3rd and showed promise, but Atlanta was too much for us in the 4th.

I feel for Camby as well. This guy leaves it all on the court night after night. He does deserve better than this. The fans deserve better than this. Ralph Lawler deserves better than this. Injuries, lackluster star player, stifling coach, etc. That's not a knock on the players on the court right now, as they have been playing hard despite the lack of wins. It's really just the season as a whole.

We're back to being the absolute worst team in the league again. Good times.

How do you even lose 12 in a row? Even the worst teams get luck at least once in that time span....

Horrible loss the Clippers are getting worse. I notice KG does what Al does a lot I thougght theyw ere going to call offensive foul for using the off-hand to deny the block.

Again a slow start and long loss this was the most winnable game we had in a while and we couldn't take advantage. Ricky is getting the Clipper curse hard how does a natural scorer not score only when he joined this team?

After reading the rest of this thread I don't think I can bear to watch my tape of the second half, after going to sleep in the early minutes of the third quarter last night.
However, I won't erase it until I've enjoyed Thornton's thunderous dunk a few minutes into the 4th,.
I just checked that box scores as I always do after a game, and once again I tip my hat to Marcus Camby --- 18 rebounds, more than a third of the rebounds the whole team got; also four blocks and 12 points. No matter how badly coached or how poorly his team is doing, this guy is unrelenting. He is amazing, and I appreciate him every single game.
Thornton's 25 points, 2 blocks and 9 boards also deserve a note of gratitude. An impressive night for him.

Camby is playing out of his mind on a terrible team. He's going to be the most coveted player before the Trade deadline. Contenders will be willing to give up a lot. We're going to wind up getting a nice return on our investment.

I actually think you could trade Mardy also, as he is showing that with minutes he makes an impact. Teams that run base offenses like yours could use him: Portland, Spurs, Detroit, and Charlotte are some examples. Package him with Camby to clear cap space and get a SG plus a pick.
