I'm glad that we're still in it despite our horrible start

We need to make some defensive stops if we're going to win this game.

If Jordan can get some Basketball IQ, he'll be a hell of a player. I regretted the Wolves passing on him in the draft.

That Gordon turn over and foul and than the Mike Miller steal sealed it for the Twolves. Good effort on our part. We were down early but made a game of it in the fourth quarter. I was pleased in how our rookies played, Al could have played better but he was in early foul trouble. I didn't really expect us to win this one because the Twolves have been playing really well of late and we all know the injury problems we're having on our side. Twolves win 94-86, hopefully Baron and Zach will be back for us against the Lakers.

Novak Another hard effort by the Clips, just too many injuries to overcome. At least with the loss, Wolves keep improving, which will help our lottery odds.

DeAndre Jordan chipped in with 8 points, 10 boards and 6 blocks, but guy is still too raw on the defensive end and jumps at every fake. Gordon had yet another game with no love and Thornton started out slow, but picked it up as the game went on.

Great effort with your 2nd unit. They had me worried.

Strong game but a hard loss. if no one from the injury list returns for the Laker Game it's going to be hard to watch.

This game was a typical loss for us. We started out slowly and spent the rest of the game trying to dig out of a first quarter deficit. The guys played okay considering the start though, they had the Wolves lead down to 2 in the fourth quarter. Like someone said earlier in the thread, every single time the Clippers got within three or four points, the TWolves responded with a bucket.

Camby's absence was greatly felt-- Minnesota got a bundle of offensive boards which resulted in points that I'm sure they wouldn't have gotten had Marcus been around to snatch those babies up. To me, the breaking point in the game came when Minny had a 2-point lead. With about 1:30 left Mike Miller missed a 3 badly, and the Clippers were left watching as Al Jefferson picked the rebound up off the ground and made the layup, and one. Somehow I feel Camby wouldn't have ball-watched.

Also, I'm starting to worry that DJ might have a bit of Kwame Brown Syndrome, or Kwame Hands. Now, I'm a huge DeAndre Jordan fan (partly in thanks to that blog of his), but he fumbled a lotta passes and rebounds, and couldn't seem to make a strong pass at times. Overall, he was effective-- he had six blocks for goodness sake! I just hope this butterfinger thing he had going on today is only temporary.

On another note, ya girl won floor seats to the game against the Thunder on Friday! Say what? FLOOR SEATS! I guess its probably some form of reparations for having been a Clips fan this long. :D

Six weeks ago, the Los Angeles Clippers gave the Minnesota Timberwolves a thumping, and as a result, the Wolves seem to have changed their season around, now winning seven of the past eight games, including four in a row on the road.

Minnesota started the game with 26-16 lead after the opening quarter and didn't let up, taking a 94-86 victory Monday afternoon. Center Al Jefferson led the way, scoring 20 points to go alongside his season high tying 17 rebounds. Craig Smith was able to chip in with 20 points and 8 rebounds himself as the Wolves continue with their recent success.

I had a non-basketball friend arrive at my door during the 4th quarter, and had to leave the game, and just watch the tape of the end just now.
I feel that as depleted as this team is, those guys remaining are playing with great guts and determination and heart, and I really admire them for it.
Keeping the game as close as it was is a true victory.
It does show the promise of the young ones, too.
I wish they had the support out there of all the guys who are off, but in my book they were quite wonderful today on their own.

And congratulations, JJ, on your courtside seats for Friday. That's just the ultimate! You'll have to report back to us on how it goes.

Congrads JJ. Represent for all of us on the Clippers broad in the front row. I'll do the same in the game that I go to. I'm going in a few weeks but I don't want to spoil it so I'll let you all know what game it is I'm going to.

I would have loved to have seen DJ swat 6 shots, but unfortunately I couldn't. Also, it's good to see Gordon break out of his shooting slump of the last 3 games. Novak with a career high. He's been on hit from behind the arc, shooting just under 50% in January.

Congrats JJ.

It's so hard knowing that for each game, we're basically playing with our second unit as our starters, and it always stacked against us. Randolph, Kaman, Davis, and now Camby. Those four could probably win a game against a lesser team by themselves. Well, if we get a good pick next year, it could be a huge year. Our young guys will have a lot of experience, we'll have a high pick, and hopefully, a new coach.

Congrats JJ, be sure to heckle Chris WIlcox. If he's playing, he might get mad and throw down one of his patented power dunks. Yeah, I know, bad for us, but it's still awesome to see.
