Haha, tell us something we don't already know, you tool. I'd rather jump off a bridge than jump on the Laker's bandwagon. Then again, if Isiah comes, we're as good as dead anyways.

Has Donald Sterling lost his mind entirely? He's never been a very good owner, but if he hires Isiah as GM he would become a total laughingstock and condemn the poor Clippers' fans to years of even worse misery.

Someone who hasn't lost his fortune in this economy PLEASE offer to buy the Clippers so Sterling can't do any more damage.

:D Commentators: Wow, ummm (ehem) Isiah, with yet ANOTHER one of his "out of the box drafting"....

Ric Bucher: There has been a trade; The Clippers will send; Baron Davis, Zack Randolph, Marcus Camby and 2 future firsts to Indiana for...Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy, Marquis Daniels and Jamaal Tinsley.

NewLineup
Kaman/Murphy
Harangody/Novak
Thorton/Davis
Dunleavy/Daniels
Gordon/Tinsley/Fred

Camby/Hibbert/Rasho
Zack/Foster
Granger/Rush
Baron/Jack
Ford/Diener

lol making the Pacers contenders.....
...this could be if Isiah comes in...

Sadly, that team doesn't look half bad for the Clippers.

And I'm guessing you don't know the knock on Isiah since he actually has done OK in the draft.

Anyways, I hope it doesn't happen, although any change right now looks tempting. =[

There ain't enough alcohol in my town to get me through those Isaiah years, if that would ever happen.

Also, expect those trades, if he really becomes our new GM.

Zach Randolph is already here.
We'll trade Marcus Camby + 2 first round picks(this years and Minny's) for Eddie Curry.
After that, we'll go after Jamal Crawford and give up Eric Gordon to get him
At the very least, Isaih, being the cominucator he is, talks Steve Francis into coming back and making that Baron, Crawford backcourt even better and a deadly three man, hey i'm gonna shoot the rock, backcourt rotation.

This would be great times folks, really great times...

I really can't even imagine making it through three Isiah days. I'm trying to imagine hours.
This just better not happen.
Hasn't Sterling forced enough suffering on us?
Can you conceive of the horrors of a team with Isiah as GM and Dunleavy as coach? This would have to be a worst in league history --- maybe there's an award for it.

I doubt he sees it that way. :nonono:

BTW: If we're to change the GM and/or Head Coaching position, then i'd rather go for some assistants, then some big name.
It's just too bad that the Spurs Front office has already been used(Kevin Pritchard and Sam Presti) by the league, but a guy like Detroit's Scott Perry might be someone, that just needs a shot to show that he belongs as a GM.

I liked what illa said-- if Isiah comes, we're as good as dead. I agree with all of what has been said here, but just to add my two cents: no. Noooo, please, God, no.....!

I'd rather that Isiah not come here. He only made the Knicks good for one season and that was it. They are still trying to recover and get rid of salary. What we need a new coach more than a new GM.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Maybe I'm too much of an optimist, but I have a feeling that this isn't going to happen.
I'll bet that the news reports in the last two days were stirred up by Isiah's people trying to rouse a bit of interest somewhere because he's dying to get back into the action.

You better hope and pray that he doesn't come. He is the one human being on Earth who would come in and actually be a downgrade from Mike Dunleavy. All kidding aside, if Donald Sterling is that concerned about saving money, hire me. I'll work for fish food and I guarantee I'd do a better job as GM than Isiah or Dunleavy.

The L.A. source said Thomas spoke with Sterling and Clippers coach/GM Mike Dunleavy about a potential personnel job. Thomas told them he would be in Los Angeles quite a bit next season because his daughter, Lauren, will be attending Loyola Marymount in L.A.

The source said talks didn't go anywhere, because the club does not have a current position suited for Thomas, though it recently fired Elgin Baylor, who was vice president of basketball operations. Thomas' expertise is the draft and his track record with the Knicks is solid in that department -- with late first-round picks David Lee, Nate Robinson, Wilson Chandler and Renaldo Balkman all having respectable NBA careers, and second-rounder Trevor Ariza shining with the Lakers.

Also, what should also be considered by everyone (although we wish it weren't even an issue), is that Baylor has a age/race discrimination suit against Sterling. Is it a coincidence that we then hear of talks of the Clippers being interested in West and Thomas as potential GM's?
