Clippers Fans

Hey Clipper Nation. I'm a Rockets fan, but I had a couple questions for you. How did you become Clippers fans? I mean this in the most non offensive way possible. Is maybe out of spite for the Lakers? I mean, in any city there's always Lakers fans. I personally hate them and their fans, but it must be hard rooting for the "other" team right? How does it work? Can you be a fan of both? Is that an accepted practice, or is it frowned upon? Do you hate Donald Sterling? I don't know, just give me some general insight please.

Hey this is something I've wanted to know for quite some time. I know the feeling. I'm a freakin Texans fan for crying out loud. We're looked at as the Cowboys' little brother. It gets annoying, but I know it comes with the territory.

Thanks I appreciate the insight. I must say, I will always respect Clippers fans. Because just like the Texans, there is no being a Fair-weather fan. If you tell someone that's your team, you really mean it. The only fan I hate more than Lakers and Jazz fans are fair-weather fans. I feel like they ruin it for the real fans. Its like walking in on the end of the movie and asking "what did I miss?" I swear I never saw so many Boston fans before last year. It was sickening.

I moved here 6 years ago and can't cheer for the Lakers because I despise Phil Jackson.

I think Donald Sterling is a terrible human being and should be forced to sell the team by Stern.

Having said that, I like the Clippers players and hope they can eventually become a good team.
