Now that Shaq is in the east does Kaman become more valuable to eastern conference teams?

Also with Yao's foot not healing do they need another center? Could we swap one of ours for Battier?

I'm a little bit disappointed that Kaman is still on the roster, hopefully he will be traded soon, maybe after July 1.

OKC was willing to take Chandler in a salary dump last year before he failed his physical. They may be willing to do the same with Kaman. Think Kaman's value is pretty similiar to Chandler's as well.

i'd like kaman on okc but the problem is he's got that extra year on his deal and i don't think presti's going to commit to that salary, even if it's a justified move.

the question is would you take a deal with only expirings for kaman, because that's probably all presti would offer. earl watson, damien wilkens, chucky atkins, et al.

No, just expirings wouldn't work for the Clippers.

Would you do this trade with the jazz . Harping and Miles for Kamen. The jazz also agree to give the clippers the best of the draft picks between Clippers pick and the knicks 2010 pick given the clippers more chances at winning lottery again next year.. Okur could opt out and the jazz could use a younger center like Kamen. Harping also might retire and the clipper would save 6.5 million.

Harpring and Miles for Kaman won't work. I don't understand what you are describing with the Knicks pick, but if the Knicks 2010 #1 was included, this would work.

The Jazz own the Knicks pick in 2010, which is unprotected. They received it way back when they shipped Shandon Anderson to NY, i think.

This means, that if we get the better pick, we could get something in the range from #1 - #29, if the deal would go down as offered.

BTW: I'd rather have Ronnie Brewer, instead of Miles. Though, if the Jazz really include the better one of those picks i would consider a deal like this.
