If he does that means the Clippers must have a great season so Im all for it :D I wasn't really meaning Martell's passing skills. I just meant he seems like a good character guy who is willing to play as part of the offence and buy into the defence. He doesn't require the ball in his hands and can hit the long ball.

Another reason I tend to say he isn't a team player is actually based on Baron's twitter. Out of everybody on the team I think he has been mentioned the least. Also when I have seen photos of the plan ride etc he is always on his own.

We should really thank Thortnton. He accounts for about 75% of Clipper highlights :)

Al Thornton is probably my favourite player on the Clippers, He has some awesome highlights but i wish some Clippers games could be on TV for once (Im in Australia). Itd be great to see how him and the Clippers actually play

Which teams do you guys mainly get? I'm assuming Cavs, Lakers, Cetlics, etc. and maybe the Bucks?

Yeh the main ones would have to be Lakers, Jazz, Bulls, Celtics, Cleveland and sometimes Magic
which is all good cause any NBA games are great to watch.

But still none of my fav teams are shown cept for Jazz usually, i dont think ive seen many Bucks games either. Do you see many Clippers games? what style of play do they play like? good to watch?

I see a majority of them, with the exception being the non-televised games and a few that were during an eastern road trip

Well I'm hoping that we'll see less of the style that we have had in recent years. Dunleavy loves isos, and some of guys have been ball stoppers, so there's been a lack of ball movement. So far, the coaching staff as well as the players have all been saying that the team looks to increase the tempo and run a bit more. We do have the player personnel to do so, and our passing should be improved which should contribute to better ball movement. With 19 wins last season, it could be downright dreadful to watch at times. There was some great moments like Gordon putting up 41 against the Thunder, our win against Boston, and Novak's game winning 3 against the Nets.

Overall, I'm expecting more out of this team and I think they now are expecting more out of themselves also. It looks promising, but they have a lot of work to do in order to fight for a playoff spot. I think if we're healthy, that we're in the mix.

Yeh they seem like an exciting team once things start to click, hopefully we can have a better record next season. Just a question about the team, is there anyone that is noticably selfish at times? or that doesn't fit in with the team in your oppinion?

Just something ive been wondering

For this year I really do hope we see more ball movement and a faster pace team. I really got into watching NBA by watching the Warriors. They were a joy to watch even if they were losing becuase there offence was always exciting and they could come back into the game at any time.

Last year watching the Clippers was a shock to the system. I have never experienced such boring to watch basketball. If it wasn't for the odd highlight play from Thornton and DeAndre some of the games would not have been worth watching. Seriously, watching the expression on Baron's face last year compared to the year before said it all. He showed no emotion and seems depressed and bored out on court. I guess thats what happens when you are told to dump the ball into Kaman and just stand around to wait and see what he does. The great thing to watch about the Warriors who upset the Mavs was obviously the highlight plays and athleticism but also the fun the players had out on court. They really seemed to get along and enjoy playing on the same team. The same cannot be said for the Clipps last year. I guess that is also caused by losing.

BoomFizzle, that seems annoying for Clippers fans.

hopefully things can turn around next season, Blake Griffin should create some excitement so that will be good

The 3 players with the most shot attempts last season were Thornton, Randolph an Baron. They were selfiish in different ways. Thornton and Randolph looked to score (and could be ball stoppers) more often than they passed. They combined for 32+ FGA per game while only assisting a combined 3.8 shots per game. The owner had a locker room tirade and singled out Al, calling him the most selfish player he'd ever seen. Al responded by working harder and playing more effectively. Baron's is a great passer and knows how to set his teammates up very well. His problem was that he took ill-advised shots, didn't drive in and sometimes froze out other players. Some of that was to injury, some of it to habit. He is saying all the right things right now, and working on his shot, but we'll have to wait until the season begins to see how it all plays out.
