I know Dunleavy and his starting lineup will be the people who started last season. However, the lineup is always "wide open" and the people who covet the starting spot will have to earn it. Dunleavy also does not start rookies unless there is generally an injury taking place (Thornton didn't play until Tim Thomas got hurt/Gordon didn't start until Mobley was traded). Griffin will have to earn his way to the starting lineup. It won't just be given to him because Camby and Kaman are vets. Granted, it's going to be way easier for Griffin than Thornton and Gordon because he's the #1 pick but that's way it is in Dunleavy land.
