Thoughts on Eric Gordon

Post#1 » by RiotPunch » Sun Nov 29, 2009 9:55 pm

Just curious to know from Clips fans just how "untouchable" EJ is? I'm assuming it would take a ridiculous return for you guys to give him up... but I thought I would ask anyways. Being a Bucks fan, Gordon would be such a perfect fit next to Brandon Jennings and Andrew Bogut. We would gladly give away any other player on the roster for Gordon, along with a 1st rounder. But I'm guessing that would even be laughable on your end.

Alexander/Meeks/Future 1st for Gordon?

I wouldn't do it if I were you guys, but I want to hear it from Clippers fans.

Alexander/Meeks/Future 1st for Gordon?

Absolutely horrible trade.

I'm neither a Clippers or a Bucks fan (though I do like both teams), but I'd say EG doesn't go for anything less than a healthy Redd or a healthy Bogut. You don't trade an emerging star for a terrible, talentless athlete (Alexander) or a one dimensional shooter (Meeks).

Eric Gordon is a key player on this team.
He is certainly not on the block.

Gordon is basically untouchable and would not be traded unless we're getting elite level talent in return.

When I have come up with trade ideas, the only times I have included EJ have been when either CP3 or Granger would come to the Clips.

I think Melo in Denver for E.G. is a fair trade. Denver might have to throw in Billups to sweeten the deal and give us money.

Exactly what I expected. Thanks for the brutal honesty, it is just what I needed to get Gordon out of my dreams.

Whoever said a healthy Redd might get a deal done... Redd has got to have the worst contract in the NBA. He is made of glass and doesn't even know how to shoot anymore.

Just wondering - why do people call him "EJ"??

Aren't his initials E.G.? Gordon??

His name is Eric Gordon Jr. (his father being the Sr. ) so he likes the be called EJ. I thinks he has been called EJ since he was kid too.

As for trading him. If we could sign Dwayne Wade in the offseason, I would try to trade him and Baron Davis for a top PG. say CP3...
