Yeah I'm also wondering the same thing.. Isn't he supposed to return in the next week or two?

Probably around 3 weeks or so. I don't think there have been any updates at all.

Yeah, about 3-4 weeks I would assume. Griffin says that he is feeling much better, but he's a young and anxious player so that doesn't mean much. Hopefully he's ready to go in early December.

He doesn't need to rush back since we'll really need him for our playoff run.

I saw on NBATV that Blake Griffin will be back in mid December
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

The Clippers had reported on Oct. 26 that he'd be back in 6 weeks. 6 weeks from that date is December 7.
Should we expect him to return against Magic or Spurs next week? Any news on that?

I would expect to see him back mid-december. Probably at the 8 week mark. There's no need to rush him back yet. Is he even participating in full contact practice? Away from Rhino hopefully? :P

Probably Mid-December at the earliest. It has been 5 weeks now. I'm assuming he'll be re-evaluated sometime in the next week or so. Pearl Harbor Day will mark 6 full weeks. Hopefully he'll be given a clean bill of health and will be able to resume basketball activities. I'm hoping that he'll travel with the team when we begin our 6-game road trip on the 16th.

Yeah, he really does seem like a difference maker with his energy on the court and personality. I don't even think we have one of those "energy" guys active on our team right now. Al could be one of those guys, but he normally doesn't hustle much(other than the past few games with his good 4th quarter play).

LA Times Reports:
"Griffin update

Dunleavy said he received "a good report" from a doctor regarding Griffin, who has been sidelined by a stress fracture in his left kneecap.

Griffin has not been cleared to run but he took a handful of flat-footed shots after practice Tuesday.

He is scheduled to have a MRI exam on his knee in about 10 days, Dunleavy said."

That is good that it is some favorable news regarding his knee. So we should being hearing something around next Friday/weekend. The question would then be, how long will it take for him to actually play once he resumes full contact practice?

I don't think it would be too long once Griffin is cleared to practice

I would hope so, but the concern is that he hasn't ran, jumped or participated in any basketball activities since the injury was diagnosed. All he has done so far is stationary shooting (i.e. Free-throws). If he is cleared on the 15th, we'll be heading out for our 6-game road trip at that time. We have 2 sets of back-to-backs and 5 games in 7 nights. The team may not be doing much practicing during that time. He could participate in drills, but probably would get very little full court, 5 on 5 action in practice, since the team will likely keep it light and focus on walkthroughs.

We get some news in 10 days apparently.

Clippers rookie forward Blake Griffin is scheduled to have an MRI on his injured knee in about 10 days.

Los Angeles coach Mike Dunleavy said he received "a good report" from a doctor regarding Griffin, who is recovering from a stress fracture in his left kneecap.

Griffin hasn't been cleared to run, but has taken some flat-footed shots.

The Clippers took him with the first overall pick in this past June's NBA Draft.

So what is the expectation for Blake Griffin. Is 13/8 on 50% shooting a reasonable number to expect?
