This team needs a bench like whoa

Post#1 » by Clip34life » Wed Jan 13, 2010 2:04 am

The more we talk about it the more it becomes clear that we should not try and win the 2010 jackpot. We need to try and take advantage of other teams at the deadline.

My targets:
Boris Diaw (can easily be had for expirings I imagine)
Barbosa (Maybe Thornton and future 1st?)
Devin Brown (I don't know if he could be had for what we'd pay but we need a player like him)

Who would you target?
I really like 1840s merchant vessels. Basketball on the other hand, I can take it or leave it...

All we need are some solid guards nothing over the top really get us a shooting guard that can shoot at will and a nice PG that can push the ball and defend and then we can say the team is set

I've said it yesterday in that Camby threat as well.
Our bench isn't producing at all, as long as Blake's out, and we really need some back up guard to give Baron and EJ enough time off.

The guy i'd really like is Barbosa, who seems to be out of the real Suns rotation, with Dragic playing well.

I think part of the problem with our bench not producing is the injury to Blake Griffin. If he was in the lineup either he or Camby would be coming off the bench and that would bolster it. That being said the guards and small forward spots on the bench haven't really been producing lately.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I'm surprised this team hasn't at least tried to see if some help might be in the d-league.
The Jazz did.

Thought the Clippers would have cut Rush and filled that spot in.

I have to believe Desmon Farmer, Reggie Williams, or Carlos Powell can provide scoring and other assistance off the bench.
