Game thread: LA Clippers vs Memphis Grizzlies

This was just a sickening loss. The odds were against us with players being sick/injured, but the damn broken water main or whatever is what really screwed us. We could have still won the game in spite of, but we'll never know how things would have played out if there wasn't a 40 minute delay. Perhaps we wouldn't have cooled off.

Safety is what is most important, but damn if this didn't screw us. Panda, an asterisk goes on your record for this BS tonight.

Tell me about it, I can't even remember the last time a Clipper got a triple double. We better beat the Grizzlies ass the next time we play them for what happened. And if we had our bigs the Grizzlies wouldn't have had a chance.

Just so everybody knows the Clippers were taken from the arena by bus. It hasn't been confirmed as far as I know if the Grizzlies were too. What a joke. Grizz need their best game to beat DeAndre Jordan, Al Thornton and Brian Skinner. The Grizz may have won but I know who the better team is.

It was reported that the Griz were on our other bus that usually holds the media reps for us, including Ralph and Mike.

I have no words. Absolutely devastated. I watched the first half and half of the 3rd quarter, recorded the 4th and rest of 3rd. I was sure we ere gonna win the game I came back with all that bull evacuation!!!!!!

If anything positive came out of this, it showed that we are a scrappy team. It's going to take more than a few injuries to stop us. You have to literally flood the arena in order to stop the Clippers.

Wish I had remembered to tape NBA Game Time today --- would have been very interested to hear the league's spin on why, instead of having the game replayed at some point, they chose to bus the Clippers away from the arena literally in the middle of a free throw sequence, let their muscles get completely cold, then bus them back and make them pick up the game more than half an hour later.
Seems like a curious decision to me.

Grizz players were put on a bus as well, and players off court to players back on court was about 34 minutes, IIRC. Only Grizzly to not get on the bus? Lionel Hollins.

Yes they do. Then again, that is what they have to do every game night. Go out on the hardwood and do their best to beat their opponent. They can't allow any loss to cause any setbacks. If this team were able to produce a four game win streak then they are damn well capable of doing it again. Don't stop now. Keep going.
