Anybody know who JamesOn Curry is? Just wondering how his game is. I also was reading this article on the wire, I didn't know Craig Smith was a Doctor.

The diagnosis was confirmed when Telfair was examined by a specialist, Dr. Craig Smith, in Los Angeles earlier today.

About Curry, here's a report from Associated Press:
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Clippers have signed guard JamesOn Curry to a 10-day contract and waived injured forward Kareem Rush.

Curry has been with the D-League's Springfield Armor this season, averaging 16.1 points, 7.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds.

The former Oklahoma State star was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 2007, but has spent his entire pro career in the D-League, France and Cyprus.

Rush tore a ligament in his right knee on Nov. 17, requiring season-ending surgery.

Also about Curry, there was a one-day suspension for resisting arrest and public urination in January, 2008. Don't know what else he's known for.

P.S. I think there was some comment about him in the thread about Kaman objecting to P.Gasol playing in the All Star game.

I read about Dr. Craig Smith, small world. The Clipps Craig Smith is a Doctor of "Coming off the Bench!"

It would be great if a pro athlete could get a doctorate. Anyways JamesOn Curry played at OK State and that's all I know.

Curry put up some decent #'s in the DL. Hopefully he can translate some of that to the NBA.

JamesOn Curry's Clippers career ended with only 6 seconds of playing time, in which he didn't touch the ball.

Sad for the guy we could of managaed some mintues from him espcially when we were in those shooting slumps
