NBATV preview

Post#1 » by Roscoe Sheed » Mon Oct 18, 2010 4:28 am

My DVR cut off right at the end, so I didn't get to see the predictions of Kenny Smith and Brent Barry. What did they predict?

The last segment was "rushed" so they kind of say their predictions and immediately cut, but if I heard it right Kenny says 7 more wins than last season and Brent reiterates "progress but no playoffs".

On a side note for a minute there I thought they weren't going to get the 1/2 hour preview on NBA TV at all. I saw the highlight videos on nba.com a few days ago and thought you've got to be kidding me, no TV! So when I saw it I was relieved, finally some respect. That is until Kenny said in the opening minutes where else can you find a 1/2 hour dedicated to the Clippers... (For those that haven't seen the show it's the usual national media bias, a lot of good information but a lot of pot shots and jokes.)

P.S. I believe they're running something similar Thursday night on Prime Ticket with our usual Clippers Live guys Michael Eaves and Don MacLean.

Kenny Smith and Chris Webber don't really give us much respect. I didn't watch the NBATV segment on us yet.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Yeah, Kenny SMith was really irritating in that show. Looked like the last thing he wanted to do was analyze the Clippers. Well, I guess the only way to stick it to these guys is to actually win

You kind of know what to expect out of both of them. I do feel that any team that has perennially underperformed needs to work to earn respect if they want to shut someone up, but the way that they act in regards to us is pretty unprofessional imo. The cheap shots are pretty lame, but if it makes them feel better...

Along with Kenny, Brent Barry threw in some shots as well.

All three guys seemed to really wana clown but were holding themselves back.. Kenny Smith probably has not seen any Clippers' games since like 1992 , because he did not have any facts or interests , or anything of substance to say ....

He also made a subtle dis when they showed the highest win total being 47 wins.. He said 47 wins got me shipped out of Houston...??

I agree with the fact that , until the CLippers win consistantly , they will never geet much respect...
You are either doing or not doing .
