Disappointing, but I like how we were still competitive for the most part.

Smith was pretty unstoppable last night. I'd love to see him get more minutes and more touches. The guy is built like a tank, but still has a nice touch around the basket.

Gomes, I don't know but his shooting is hurting us. If he's going to get 30+ minutes, and his shot is still not falling, I don't want him taking anything over 5 shots a game. He has to be used only for defense, rebounding, etc... If it was Butler getting those shots, I'm pretty sure he'd be converting more than Gomes. I still think we should start Butler for a few games and see how that goes.

Kaman... Again, I know it's early, but I just don't understand how his shot fell off the face of the Earth so fast. In preseason, I don't think I've ever seen his offense look so polished before. And now it's like someone flicked the off switch on his shooting, and now he's missing layups, or turning the ball over like mad. Doesn't make sense.

Great to see the Erics with consecutive strong performances. And I found it funny when EJ drove to the basket and got fouled, and then I heard Hubie Brown say that EJ should drive more because he's an excellent free throw shooter. After he made the comment I thought he was probably going to miss his free throws. Sure enough, missed both of them. We need EJ to convert on those, because now he's getting to the line more which is great.

And Griffin, man his game is just beastly right now. He's got a good bank shot going, and I love how he can finish the and 1 plays with ease. If only Kaman was playing like he was in preseason, we'd have a helluva front court.
