Status Update on Eric Gordon's shoulder

Post#1 » by mkwest » Sun Nov 7, 2010 10:56 pm

According to Lisa Dillman via Twitter, Eric Gordon recently had an MRI that showed no cartilage or Rotator Cuff damage. His injury has been diagnosed as a deep bone bruise. He is listed as day-to-day.

This is great news after hearing that he heard something pop last night. He has been playing well with the increased opportunity and neither he nor the team could really afford for him to miss a significant amount of time. Hopefully he is able to go on Tuesday. If not, Butler, Aminu and Warren would all be looking at increased minutes.

Just as he was showing his full potential, he goes down to an injury :( That dunk last night to tie the game was insane though. Hope he comes back well. I hope to see Aminu get more minutes and oppurtunities while EJ is sidelined.

That dunk was insane. I watched it like 20x to see if Millsap fouled him. Based on the replays, it looks like he got fouled on the arm after he threw it down. Still a foul!

I'm glad to hear that. He's going to be something special once he returns and gets his shot back. I've never seen him play like he did in the last game.

Baron being out for a little while really did help this team. We get to see Bledsoe and Gordon develop into better players before our very own eyes.

Great to hear that it's nothing serious. Sucks that it happened to Gordon just when he started to take it to the next level. And with his injury, we might see more of Warren. I don't even remember him during SL. I'd like to see what he brings to the team, now that we've seen what Bledsoe can do.

Thats great news even if it is an injury to our best player at this given time.. well id say anyways

i hope he recovers to 100% in a short amount of time, in the mean time i look forward to seeing more of Warren and Aminu, see what they can do

EJ is playing like the old Iverson. Taking it to the hole almost everytime and shooting long 3's. I don't mind though, he's our best shot at winning.

Blake needs to step it up on offense. If he's gonna be a star he needs to take over games.

Great news. I was really worried for EJ. By the way that dunk was absolutely ridiculous. EJ has had some amazing dunks so far this year, even more than Blake.

Heat fan here, Im sick of how the media ignores Eric Gordon.
Hes easily one of the most underrated players in the game, i hope you guys make the playoffs sometime soon. It'll be nice to see a Gordon/Griffin led team!

Per Lisa Dillman:

Eric Gordon update in LAT. Not playing tonight, VDN says. http://tinyurl.com/28xnlq5
