I'm not really sure that our Front Office is going to deal him, because I think that they'd only do it for Melo, who I don't think will come here, but I'm wondering how good he can be in this second half of the season. If he can get close to where he was last year coming off the bench, I think that he can help us out tons, especially on the road.
Any thoughts?

Re: Do you think Kaman can return to last years form?
Kaman is so frustrating and he seems to always be hurt around the trade deadline. I had high hopes for him coming into the season. If you go back to preseason, he looked great and was playing near-flawless basketball. He looked like an all-star and that he was primed for a successful season. When the red light went on and it was action time, he froze up in front of the camera and forgot his lines. He looked terrible and then he got hurt. That impression is the last thing in the minds of everyone and it doesn't sit well.
I think that he is capable of being a good player once again. I do believe that he could be a true asset to this team and be a good complement to both Griffin and Jordan. I think that he would be a nice fit coming off of the bench and being the first option amongst the reserves. We always need bench scoring, and he would be a viable option. I am just a bit fed up with him at this point. Injuries happen, but every damn year? He's always stepping in the wrong place (somebody's foot, a cameraman, etc.) and is probably more accident prone than anything.
I'm sure that Olshey is dangling his name out there, but I don't think he'll be traded by the deadline (2/24), since his value is so low. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.
I am looking forward to his return along with our other injured players. I want to see what the team looks like a full strength. Kaman is going to be an expiring contract next season (if there is a season) and I could see him being moved then. I think that Olshey and Vinny need to enter into the 2011-12, not counting on Chris to be a big part of the equation. He just hasn't proved to be reliable in back-to-back seasons.

I think it's possible that Kaman could return to last year's form. It depends on when he comes back. He's been out for so long this season so he will be rusty. I think it's best for him to come in with the second unit, and if that's the case we can run the offense through him. Even though I think it's possible that Kaman can return to last year's form I'm not sure he will. He will have a new role on the team and it will depend on how he adapts to that.
I feel that eventually we will try to trade him. But I saw we keep him for now.

I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Honestly I don't think so because he will never be the #1 option like he was last year. He'll either be the #3 option if he starts, or just a offensive spark off the bench of Vinny is smart enough to keep DJ in the starting lineup.
He can play a huge role in providing points off the bench when Blake and EJ are off the court. The guy has a great post offensive game. I can see him doing something along the lines of 13/8, and he shouldn't struggle as much since he has the skill set to be a starter in the league while playing against a secondary defense.

He won't return to last season's form, not because of his fault, but because of the emergence of Blake and DJ. He will most likely come off the bench when he comes back, and be our 6th man.

Heard he is done for the season. Just look at Kaman's stats before last season then that should be where he is at when he comes back.

Do you have a link for that info? I can't find anywhere where it says that he's done for the season.
