Wow crazy finish. We were lucky that the refs called a jump ball and we were able to come up with the ball. I thought we played bad all ball game. We gutted it out and came up with the win.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I would too. Kind of reminds me of the flagrant foul call in Atlanta. At least we got some officiating to go our way this time.

I didn't see anything wrong with either the Bledsoe play or the jump ball. I had the volume down, can you fill me in quick on what the controversy was?

What a weird way to end the game. Nice to win the game, but this strange loss will have big consequences as far as playoff seeding for the Grizz.

Besides the block/charge it could have been a shot clock violation. To be honest I'm really not sure what to call in that situation. If there is a lot of confusion then a jump ball could be the best way to go.

Violet Palmer called the play a blocking foul. The other ref (?) called it a charge. Both calls were almost simultaneous with the shot clock expiring. The ball was actually in Bledsoe's hands as the shot clock expired. The refs then discussed what call to make before heading to the replay. You can use the replay for possession on an out-of-bounds play or a shot clock violation, but not for a foul. The refs determined the time and then took the ball to center court for a jump.

Given the circumstances, it was the only real solution, but it's still sketchy at best. The conflicting calls meant that someone was going to end up getting the short end of the stick. This time it was Memphis, since they lost and are battling for a playoff spot.

The water main game screwed us, so we know how it feels. They're borderline 7/8th seed with Houston on their tail.

Thanks MK. I couldn't tell there was a charging call also. It's always the Clippers that seem to be in these games, only this time we actually came out on top. Definitely a good sign moving forward.
