So when will Blake be announced as the Rookie of the Year?

I did a search on when Tyreke Evans was named ROY, and it looks like it was April 27th of last year (Derrick Rose was named ROY on April 22nd), which was/were after the regular season. I know it's pretty much a moot point in the grand scheme of things, but If this will be the case this year, then I think it would be better to announce it a little bit earlier, so that the winner could celebrate it in front of his own home crowd (i.e. our last home game, which is this Wednesday vs Memphis).

Usually for Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and MVP, they are typically able to honor them the same year, as they are almost always in the playoffs. I just think it would be a nice gesture to give Blake the award in his last home game of the year.

It's obvious that Blake will win it, but I'm sure the NBA isn't going to make any changes. It would be nice for Blake to be honored in front of the home crowd, but I don't see the NBA doing that.
