I'm not sure if Iiyasova was getting ready for contact or just lost his footing. They showed this replay about 5 times at the game & it was evident that he slipped.
I think one of the reasons the game was so sloppy was that the KING'S hockey game didn't finish until 4pm. The Crew only had a short time to put the floor on. Maybe condensation was making the floor slippery?
