That was a well run play by Minny. Not sure if VDN told them not to switch, but that wouldn't make sense in a game with 1.5 secs left. The guys might have just read the situation wrong there, I'm not really sure. Can't say it's a reason to can VDN.

No Caron, no Chris, and Mo who was on fire got ejected, it wasn't the best of situations.

It isn't just this game as the reason to get rid of him, but I'm tired of recycled coaches like VDN and Dunleavy who haven't won with good teams and are expected to lead the Clippers into playoff success. I don't see it happening, it didn't work for Del Negro in Chicago with a good team, why would it turn around with the Clippers?

Seems like we aren't able to put away teams and always let them back in.

I really hope that changes once CP3 is back.

BTW: I also hope that this is Vinny's last season with us. His "offense" is just a joke and he doesn't know what the hell he's letting them run out there.

I thought we just got out hustled in the last 4-5 minutes of the game. Easy transition buckets, and once again we could not guard/switch properly after a screen. Offensively I thought Billups ruined everything. He made some nice 3s but then ball movement and shot selection was just terrible when it was in his hands. I think at one point he tried to make a pass to DJ midshot and DJ even looked mad at him. Argh. Frustrating loss and I think Mo's ejection was BS and made our offense stagnant.

Seriously just let it go

Not a flop? Seriously, it's hard to find a more obvious flop in todays nba.

Eh, Wolves fan here, and I looking at the replay, I thought he just lost his balance as well. Looked like he just extended his leg out from his body for some stupid reason (stupid meaning i dont understand hwy he did it) and didnt have the balance to stay upright when he landed on one foot with his leg sticking out.

I mean, you'd have to be all kinds of stupid to flop like that. That looked painful

I am convinced that we didn't deserve to win this game. Caron and CP would have made a huge difference on the outcome had they played and it really didn't help that HOT shooter MoGotti got ejected at the 6 min mark in the 4th. BTW BLAKE GRIFFIN YOU NEED TO KNOCK DOWN YOUR FT's :nonono:

Watched this game crowded around a laptop at a mates bbq. After defending the team (quite a few lakers fans) we lose like that. I'm pretty sure I punched a pot plant and spilt beer all over the kitchen.

Oh okay, well when you mention it in this thread, you know that it is likely that one will assume that you are referring specifically to the game.

VDN isn't good, but who are the coaching options out there? I know a lot of people are thinking of Sloan, and while I like him, I'm not sure about him. Who else?

Yea, he did loose balance, and he did kick his leg up, but that generally might happen if you take off in an awkward manner, more so than if you just kick in the air. Of course because Blake is being touted as the flop machine, in some people's minds, he was deliberately trying to land on his back to get a loose ball foul with no FT's and in a situation where he already had the ball.
