This is where depth is needed. Denver is arguably the deepest team in the league and it showed. They ran us out of the building.

This one was hard to watch. It sucks that it was on National TV, but other than that it was it is. Denver is a good team and were hitting their shots, while we weren't. 4th game in 5 nights and we were gassed. Foye waited until the game was far out of reach before he started doing anything lol.
We'll have another shot against them on the 22nd of this month at home just before the ASB.

He speaks! Yes, it was extremely hard to watch, but after each blowout we seem to get better, this team is still a work in progress in this condensed season.

I was out of it last night. This game didn't help.

Kenyon will contribute greatly to this. Our guard depth is unprecedented though. Instant Mo is 6th MOY easily right now.

One good thing over the last 3 games or so is that Blake's jumpshot has been falling at a higher rate. Right now teams are comfortable leaving him pretty open, so hopefully he can get to a level where they feel the need to guard him.
From 16-23 he's up to 35% FG now, still bad, but better than his 33% last season, and improved over what he was a few days ago.
If he can get a one piece shot, both on his spot up shooting, and his FT's, it will really improve his game overall. Blake shooting 64% (his percentage last season) from the line right now would be averaging 22.3 PPG. His eFG% is 2.8% better than last season, but his TS% is down 0.7% due to his bad FT shooting.
In addition, Blake's man to man defense in the post has been improving. Even good defenders get scored on, so the expectation was never for him to not get scored on in the post. He's been getting some blocks against his man (2 or more blocks in the last 5 games), and he's been able to use his strength to battle down there as best as he can. That's good to see.
DJ though needs to really embrace the defensive role and take command as a vocal defender. Chris is an extremely vocal guy on defense, but being the C and being closest to the rim most of the time, DJ needs to be more vocal and to direct guys. That's one of the biggest things in team defense, communication. I hope VDN is hammering that into him, and making him work on it in practice.
