Mo Williams started off the season quite hot and as a man on a mission, and his impact was quite obvious. Over the 14 games in February though, Mo has averaged 12.1 PPG on 12.6 FGA.
He's shooting 35.0% FG and 31.2% 3PT while averaging 3.1 APG to 2.1 TPG. All in all, Mo has been struggling, and is not longer really bringing that spark off the bench that the team sorely needs.
Clearly, another bench scorer or shooter would be nice. As much as Kenyon and Reggie's defense and hustle is appeciated, it is hard to have consistency with just one bench scorer. Before, with Billups, at least Foye even though he wasn't playing all that great was another option.
What does everyone see as the options to help Mo out offensively off the bench, or just to improve bench production in general?

Guys will have their off nights, but if Mo expects to get more touches, then the team/the 2nd unit must play defense and rebound the ball extremely well. You do those 2 things every game, then the more touches you will get leading to better production.

Re: Mo's cool down and the bench
We could make some kind of trade, but we've talked about that a lot already. My hope is guys like Mo Foye, Butler, Martin, and hopefully Bledsoe step up and play better. They are all capable of stepping up and contributing more than they have. But right now we are only getting consistent contributions from Blake and Paul. My hope is that the others guys step up and come to life.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

^ couldn't have said it better myself! EVERYONE is cold right now. We're not getting much from Butler, Bledsoe, Foye, Martin and Mo. Gomes fell out of the lineup and Reggie is Reggie. We gotta find some scoring and adding somoeone sounds like the answer, but honestly I exprect to get more out of atleast 2 of those 5 guys. Not that I don't want a trade.

Bench scoring per 36
Mo Williams:
16.8 PPG | .530 TS% | 106 Ortg
Kenyon Martin:
7.6 PPG | .409 TS% | 82 Ortg
Ryan Gomes:
6.4 PPG | .382 TS% | 83 Ortg
Reggie Evans:
4.1 PPG | .496 TS% | 101 Ortg
Career wise, Gomes has a 107 Ortg, 13.1 PPG/36, .525 TS%, and had 107Otg last season along with 9.4 PPG/36 and .504 TS%. Obviously as a Clipper, offensive output hasn't been great, but last year it also wasn't horrible. The reality is that Gomes is the guy that is supposed to step up and make a difference, but as we all know, that hasn't been the case. Outside of just missing shots, it's been hard to pin point where things have gone wrong for him. I know that he has always been decent posting up other SF's, but that hasn't been an option for him in the offense as a Clipper for obvious reasons.
Bledsoe just came off injury and hasn't played much, so I won't say anything about him yet. Last year, overall he was not yet a good or even average offensive player yet (.499 TS%, 93 Ortg, 10.6 PPG/36) , and I think because of the situation this season, one can't expect too much from him.
Reggie cant score, but he's not the worst on offense because he grabs offensive rebounds, but the obvious problem is that his presence makes things congested and can be difficult for other guys. If he was a good finisher and FT shooter, obviously that would be a different situation, but he isn't and won't be.
Kenyon has been awful so far. He wasn't bad on offense last season (107 Ortg, .526 TS%, 12.1 PPG / 36), but maybe increasing age, not having played for a while, trying to adjust mid-season, all those things don't help too much.
Bobby Simmons (last truly healthy year, 08-09 NJN):
11.6 PPG/36, .596 TS%, 116 Ortg, 5.5 3PA/36, 2.4 3PM/36
The good: he says he's healthy
The bad: that was 4 years ago at age 28, and this is 4 years later at age 31
Mo is going through a slump, I don't doubt that getting some extra minutes with Billups, and also having Foye as another guy off the bench with him helped him, and guys go up and down. It has been a very bad month for him though, so I don't want to neglect that. Kenyon and Gomes are beyond bad right now. The hope really seems to lie on Simmons to help out a little, and possibly for Kenyon to pick things up.

I also think that Kenyon is getting touches that Mo got in the beginning of the season, I agree that Mo is in a SLUMP, let's hope it ends soon!
Mo goes for a 120PTS on this 6 game Road Trip.
