LOL, no it isn't.

I'm happy that we won but we'll have to defend and rebound better against Utah tomorrow night. Based on how we've been playing lately I didn't think either of those things would be a problem tonight. Once the 1st quarter got going I saw that Portland kept getting offensive rebounds. Anyways I'm going to enjoy the win and hope the Clippers can put in a better defensive effort tomorrow night.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I had to check my blood pressure. It was normal, but my pulse was 122. :nonono:

It's typically the same thing with this every night that is going to determine the outcome. Consistent defensive intensity, not giving up multiple offensive opportunities, closing out on shooters, etc. If we do those things, then our odds of winning are much greater.

Hickson has always played strongly against Blake. In their 3 meetings prior to tonight, Hickson has averaged 19.7 points, 8.3 boards, 1.7 blocks with 63.4% shooting. That's including a game where he only scored 4 in 13 mins in Sacramento. He was a good pickup for the Blazers and I think Sacramento should have exhibited more patience in either trying to fit him in or in trying to get some value for him. Their loss is Portland's gain.

Chauncey might as well be our coach, I'm sure that is a huge reason why we've been playing better at home.
