Interviewer: "Clippers were more aggressive last time, but it seems like you guys were more aggressive this time"

OJ Mayo: "They have a lot of flops, so we might as well go out there and play aggressive"

I found this quite funny

We had our chances at the end, granted somethings had to go right but we were close. It sucks that we lose and Lakers win. Final score Grizzlies beat us 94-85. We have to get back to playing some defense.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Regular season is just that, regular season. If we're going to face these guys in a 7 game series, a whole different ball game.

Though with Del Fail leading the charge.... *sigh*

With a team that matches up well with you, in a 7 game series, you win through defense and exploiting mismatches.

Against this Memphis teams Mo Williams actually becomes a greater asset. Nick Young could be, but he's not being very aggressive, or not playing much. Nick Young needs to have a similar green light to Mo Williams (right now with Mo out), when he comes off the bench. If not, he isn't as effective as he's capable of being.

Anyways, one can't expect Randy Foye to shoot that poorly every game, either, but it was bound to happen since he couldn't shoot 50% from three as I believe he was this month forever.

Marc Gasol will have a field day with us.

Marc could average 20 PPG by pump faking, he's the guy I'd be worried about. Randolph, I'm not so worried about. Blake has played very well on his individual man to man post-defense. Randolph could have a field day if the Clippers play a zone or allow a lot of penetration and kick. Blake goes to the rim fairly quickly and isn't super energetic about recovering to the shooters in those situations.

Let's just hope there is very little zone going on. Memphis has good enough shooters and big man passers where a zone isn't of much value.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
