It's been like this for a long time. Stern either orchestrates this stuff and doesn't care and is therefore guilty by negligence

The Lakers have got that type of home cooking time after time and it strongly contributed to the '02 title (game 6 vs Kings) and the '10 championship (more free throws in the 4th quarter than the Celtics shot in the entire game)

Stat of the night, Reggie Evans: 15 minutes, 1 defensive rebound, 0 offensive rebounds

Gotta give Memphis props not only for crashing the offensive glass, but for keeping the Clippers players off the glass, but when you shoot 56.7% FG, there aren't many rebounding oppurtunities.

Clippers lose Game 2 105-98 and the series is tied at 1 now. Turnovers killed the Clippers along with giving up so many offensive rebounds and points in the paint. Memphis got some home cooking in Game 2, which is expected and I just hope the Clippers get the same type of treatment in Game 3. Clippers did what they needed, stole home court, now just need to win out at home and everything will be the way it should.

More injuries tonight with Bledsoe, Young and Mo Gotti. Hope they are all fine as Clippers need all three of those guys in the game with Butler and Billups already injured. Simmons did a decent job of stepping up in Butler's absence. Martin wasn't allowed to play his physical brand of D, Evans was invisible, Foye can't hit a shot. Young was solid yet again, should have had a 4 point play in the end as well, but the game was nearing the end. Paul played awesome minus his uncharacteristic DJ was so/so on D, but stupid turnovers. Blake kept getting abused when it came to boxing out.

Clippers had 15 assists and 20 turnovers...were -9 on the boards and gave up 16 on the offensive end. Shot 56.7%, so if they can just control the turnovers teamed with home cooking for themselves, they should be able to retain home court.

Props to Memphis for coming back instead of folding.

Our defensive rebound total to their offensive rebounding was 24/16. 3 to 2.
Their defensive rebound total to our offensive rebounding was 21/4. 5.25 to 1.

We've got to do better. That's disgustingly bad.

I felt like they were more aggressive at getting in the paint than us, so it isn't terribly surprising they shot more free throws. I would've never suspected heading into this series that a team with Evans, Griffin, Jordan, and Martin would be getting pushed around in inside and on the glass, but we did. With no Chauncey and no Caron we don't have much on the perimeter, our bigs need to establish themselves.

I think we should've tried KMart at 3 more. If Bobby Simmons is going to be on the court he needs to provide something on offense. He was invisible until it was too late.

CP3 just said in his post game that its hard to beat a team that shoots 21 more free throws then you. Dam right! Im glad our players are cognizant of the poor officiating .

K-Mart at the 3 kills offensive spacing, that's the main issue, can't do it for more than a little while.

The Clippers were also very aggressive inside- Griffin was being pushed around with mostly no calls- also when the Grizz were getting beat off the dribble, they would just reach in and hit the arm of the guard and the refs somehow didn't see it

Reminds of the Suns vs. Spurs in '07. Bowen would just grab Nash's arms in full view of the refs and they wouldn't call the foul. Makes you wonder

Just watched the game.

Gasol is too fat to keep him off the offensive glass.

Deandre stone-hands about 3 rebounds or passes out of bounds per game.

Blake Griffin gets mauled and undercut by Randolph on pretty much every shot he takes with no call. Then they call a touch foul on him guarding Zach at the other end.

Blake is so much better when he just goes quick instead of standing there for 5 seconds and then trying to back down guys that are bigger than he is.

The refs were horrible.
