In case some of you didn't know, Baron suffered a knee injury in the Heat/Knicks game earlier today. I didn't get to see it live and had to resort to Clip 1 and Clip 2. So far it has been ruled a dislocated kneecap. I'll assume they'll know tomorrow if there is any further (ligament) damage or not. At 33 years of age and an assortment of other injuries (back, cyst behind his knee, etc.) that he has had to deal with, we may have seen the last of Boom Dizzle on the court. I hope not and would rather see him go out on his own terms.

If we have seen the last of him playing, then he will be one of the players that you know will have a successful post career in whatever he does. I hope he has full and speedy recovery. Get well soon Baron.

Reminiscent of Shaun's injury which was really sad, terrible day that was. It might be the end for Baron, sadly, part of his injury issues are also related to him not consistently keeping himself in good shape.

Re: OT: Baron Davis Injury

Dislocated Kneecap, Partially Torn Patella Tendon, Torn ACL and MCL. Shaun Livingstonesque indeed. Estimated recovery time is 12 months. Baron is scheduled to have surgery later on this week.
If he were to make a comeback, he'd be 34 years old. If he were to start the 2013/14 season on time, he would have had approximately 18 months to recover and get back into game shape. With the accumulation of other injuries and the amount of work it would take for him to recover from this one, he has more than likely played his last NBA game. The only positive is that he went out in a playoff game (after a 5 year drought) in the most famous arena with the fans chanting his name.

I heard about the injury saw the replay and it looked bad. I figured Baron would be out for a bit but not more than a whole year. I feel bad for Baron and hope he recovers well. Like many of you have said his career is probably over.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Is Baron signed for next year? That cat makes so much Cheddar from being, cut, sold, injured or out of shape.
