Turiaf fouled Williams behind the 3 point line.
He hits all 3 and Clippers are down 80-65 headed into the 4th

I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Sometimes this pre-season, it has looked easy for DJ in the post, it's crazy compared to last season
Since when does the team go to DJ when they need a basket, he's really gotten good down low

It wasn't even that serious, what a bone-headed played. The game was over and there was no need for that.
Jazz win 99-91

99-91 Jazz win.
Too many turnovers and missed opportunities at the foul line, but the guys continued to fight.

3 seconds left hes holding the ball like most teams do to show respect and you have guys poking at him.

The guy is trying to make it in the league and he pulls that in a preseason game? I wish they still had Sloan just to see the reaction he would have

Even if our guys are poking at the ball the game is over. Jackson didn't have to react like that. He could have just held the ball and game over.

I agree it was a bad move on his part. still like you said the game was over there was no need for anyone to go up and start poking at the ball. The situation was avoidable had both sides just let the clock ran out and shook hands.

yep, just like there was no need for stockton and hornacek to slide a foot under a shooter every time a player was up in the air. Jazz fans talking about dirty plays of others is like a crackhead pointing a finger at potheads.

as far as jackson is concerned, he obviously had beef with turiaf previously and also fully aware he was getting cut, and his stress level was already at a point of no return.
ehhhhh f it.

No need for the hostility Neddy, doesn't seem like he was calling anyone dirty.
The one thing that still worries me is 3PT defense. The rotations were not crisp out there, guys were scrambling too many times against the shooters. This was an issue last year, and last nights game certainly didn't bode well for that. The guards need to gamble less for steals and guys need to communicate better.
Of course teams will get open three's once in a while, but you don't want to give up open three's that happen due to defensive breakdowns as opposed to good offense.
