If Billups is healthy, Green won't start, Vinny will just have to manage the minutes so that one of Paul or Billups is on at each time in other to have a PG there.

Overrated? No, lets remember that Bledsoe is the backup point guard, and anyteam with a backup that can put up the numbers that Bledsoe has is immensly fortunate. Still, that being said he does have his flaws. Bledsoe sprints to the hoop so fast and makes ill advised passes that turn into turnovers, so while he will never be the playmaker Chris Paul is he is amazing at his role, back up PG.
Deandre is overpaid, but the Clippers didnt have a say in that matter. When DJ was available to hear offers from other teams Golden State threw this ridiculous offer at him, which put us in the position to either match it or let him walk. DTS, at least I presume this was his logic, was tired of being accussed of letting young talent walk away from this team, so he did what he had to even if the offer for DJ was too much.
Also, KG and Pierce are HOF, but to give up a young promising point guard for KG or Pierce at this stage in their careers is a bad move for the Clippers. Also, Garnetts salary is astronomical. He can still impact the game, but giving up Bledsoe and Butler for Garnett only would be making a huge mistake on the part of the Clippers. Point Guards dont come around that easily, and this is a point guard driven league. As much as I may get crucified for saying this KG for Bledsoe and Butler would benefit only the Celtics and we would get older and become eerily similar to the Lakers, an old team with inflated salary

Also, a sample of Bledsoe's last 3 games.
23 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 blocks.
17 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal.
25 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 steals, 2 blocks.
Definitely not overrated. Remember that his season averages are considering thathe plays off the bench, but when he has started, as in these last three games he is amazing.

Late to this party...
^Pretty sure you can't do this under the CBA... Recall, the Mavs tried to do this when they shipped Stack to NJ in 2008, Stern got wind and blocked it. Now it's in the CBA: if you trade a player and he is waived, the team he came from can't sign him for the rest of the season. Teams would do this all the time otherwise to match salaries.
They iron out more of these hiccups every CBA. REmember Dallas also used Van Horn's salary in a trade after he had retired. Can't do that in this CBA either
edit: got this slightly wrong -- LAC would have to wait 30 days to re-sign Odom:
"If a team trades a player and the player is waived by the receiving team, the player's original team cannot re-sign that player for 30 days (during the season) or 20 days (during the offseason) following the date of the trade."

That's good, that means if LO were to be traded today, we would be able to sign him at around March 10th or later, which means be would be able to play in about 20 regular season games and more importantly be available for the playoffs. However, I would be more then happy if the Clippers just go ahead and trade Bled/Butler/Hollims for KG. After what I saw from Grant Hill today, I would be comfortable with him as our starting SF for 18-20mpg with Barmes backing him up.
