I would have loved to have been wrong. They just showed more activity than the Clips. We kind of just loafed around. Giving up 36 points in the 3rd quarter just showed the kind of effort and the quality of play that we have had tonight.

Denver is a good team in a great situation (@ home, Clips on 2nd night of b2b) and we didn't have Crawford. It just sucks that we were right there with them but couldn't keep up.

Clippers need that versatile defender like an Iguodala or Danny Green. Teams put their long but still decently quick guy on him, so their PG's don't have to work too hard, but he has to guard them on the other end. Butler can't really take advantage of the little guys either, Barnes does a much better job.

This game just shows that when CP3 and Blake come out with that casual attitude and kinda wait to get into the game then it hurts us later in the game. That's what got us down in the end, lack of energy.

Sadly Barnes isn't quick enough to stay with PG's and quick SG's. It is a future need for the team to address though. But yea, the lack of energy wasn't good.
