I feel like other teams play tougher against us. They get up for those games because they know the importance of those games. The Clippers haven't seemed to take it up another notch in quite some time. We just come soft and lackadaisical and let them punk us. Stop saying that it's just another game. It's not just another game. Playing the Thunder, Spurs, Grizzlies, etc. is not like playing the Pistons or the Kings. Show some heart. Show some pride.

Now I can't watch Inside the NBA tomorrow :nonono:

This loss sucks, this is one we had to have. If we are not careful we may slip to #5. This is sometime for this team to get it together and I hope we do. I know we can blow out the bad teams, but we need to start beating the good teams again. Especially during this time of the season, this is when you need to play your best basketball. We could have a great regular season, but it doesn't mean much if we go out early in the playoffs.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Pacific Division Champion is guaranteed no worse than 4th seed. Now you can be the 4th seed and not have home court advantage, which is entirely possible if the Clippers want to limp through the final stretch.

When you can't defend at all, you're going to have problems if you also can't score against your opponent. I think when the game gets to a grind, the team needs to go away from some things, and just force feed posting up Blake. Paul would get the ball, give it up, then you would have Barnes, Odom and Crawford playing hot potato with it into a shot clock violation or poor shot.

Anyways, Butler and Bledsoe being out obviously didn't help, but Paul and Blake didn't do much as scorers in the second half. Basically the team needed them to both score 30 to be in this game.

Thanks I totally forgot about that. But if Denver finishes with a better record than us they would get home court and we'd basically be the "5th seed"

I'm going to think positive though. I know we can play better and we didn't have Butler or Bledsoe.

Paul had 4 points in the 3rd and 2 in the 4th. Blake had 7 in the 3rd and a goose egg in the 4th. The bench only scored 11 points on 20 shots. That's terrible. Things could have been different with Butler's 3's and Bledsoe forcing 3's and blocking shots, but this team needs to be able to step up when things aren't ideal. We played timid and hesitant.

spurs just out executed us.

i thought the Thunder and the Grizzlies punked us.
let me complain and be a whiney bish from the comfort of my home.

nothing worse than getting out-physicaled then complaining to the refs for each and every call while the other team looks like they're hungry for the next play to occur so they get back to throwing their weight around.

Clippers must learn.
the reactor doesn't win....he who gets the 1st punch off in the fight usually wins.
we can't just try to adapt and act like we're chameleons that can adjust to any style.
no, when the Thunder and Grizzlies are on the schedule for tonight...we need to be the most physical team in the history of physicality and bringing the physicality to them...not in reaction.

i was at the game... was it just me or were the refs turrble? they were calling some ticky tack stuff on us and not on the griz. bg needs to throw an elbow on zbo's face while he's coming down from a rebound.

i think we really needed EB/Caron today, jcross couldn't hit a shot for his life, tayshaun just tore up barney... esp early on

Tony Allen put the clamps on Crawford. I actually prefer when they switch Allen to Paul because Paul can handle him, and it would mean that Crawford get's an easier defender.

Sad loss :( even depressing a bit :(
So much hype, sky high expectations and we might end up as 4th or even 5th seed in the west...just 4th or 5th...

^ We can't be 5th because we are gonna win our division (the top 4 in the standings = 3 division leaders + the team with the best record that's not a division leader).... But yeah, sad loss indeed :(

my bad.
what I like is that we certainly shouldn't be too banged up for playoffs because of such deep roster and reduced playing time.
