for me at least...
not only does a slide like this seem like a disappointing season is looming.
i wonder what kind of implications it has on CP3 re-signing with us.
do we re-sign him and bring in the right coach because he sees what we have?
do we get a coach and then the coach lets cp3 know we're srs?
do free agents/ other players wanna play here with us with our reputations, albeit bad reps, for flopping and being nothing but dunkers?
at this point....i say I'm scared/ nervous about the implications of this slide.
but we can fix it by getting a little momentum going forward and competing in these playoffs.

Re: The Implications of this slide are too much
There have been tough games, and some close tough losses, and because of that, the teams recent record isn't exactly indicative of their level of play over that time altogether. Clippers are still 4th in SRS and the expected W/L is at 53-22 meaning that close games just haven't been in the Clips favour lately.
The one good thing is that the players won't head into the playoffs overly confident in anything. Hopefully they can piece it back together and win the majority of the final games

thats the only thing that i like.
the Dallas game and SAS game...those hurt...thats fine...i backed them there...those were our wins.
but the 2nd half in houston and the 1st 36 minutes against Indiana.
nah man....not buying it....that's not what a team heading into the playoffs does.

It's going to be interesting going into the playoffs. I must say it is one positive that at least we wont go in too arrogant and casual. We should play hard, We either continue our slide and fall in the 1st round and then everyone starts getting real nervous about CP3 etc. Or its the best thing that could've happened to us and our guys are spirited and take that into the playoffs.

I'm super frustrated, but everyone hits slumps. Battle of LA is this weekend, that always gets us pumped up, especially if we can put the nail in the Lakers playoff coffin. We host the Wolves 2 nights after, so hopefully we can take it out on them too.

Re: The Implications of this slide are too much
I think we're all frustrated. Things were great early in the season, now not so much. I wasn't overly excited early in the season because I knew that isn't the most important time to play your best basketball. If we don't shape up then we are going to have a disappointing finish. I'm hoping that the guys can get it together and we can get healthier. Hopefully tonight will be the start to a good finish of the regular season.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!
