Doc will put them in beneficial situations, it's up to them to come out and play. We all know what CP3 is capable of, how will BG/DJ make it easier for him?

I sort of agree with this. DJ is the remaining team weakness (VDN is gone). If Doc can get DJ to significantly improve his game (and I think that is possible) the Clips can be very good and compete with the best in the league.

I only expect a slight gradual improvement from BG. His weaknesses are vastly overstated by many people. Also, the additions of Collison, Dudley, and Redick are very nice upgrades. If Doc gets the most out of his talent, this team will compete with the best.

Riverside is just a pessimist, not even a realist, just down on everything

I have a lot of faith in him, definitely. It helps that he's a good talker and always manages to make me share his point of view lol but seriously he always says the right things and knows how to make the players and everyone around the team invested, and that's a really valuable quality. As a coach he has his flaws but he's showed he's good enough to coach a great team to a championship, which is no more no less what he should be asked to do.

I like Sacks and wanted to see what he could do. I like most of the moves that have been made and it looks like it is still very much a collective process, so my concerns on that front have waned.

The Spurs have been working with a similar framework for years and it's worked great for them, and Rivers has always been good at delegating and sharing the credit, at least with his former assistants. As long as they make decisions as a team it can only be good to have the coaches involved in the personnel decisions. Doc is not the type to make unanimous decisions either and Sacks and Roeser and Miller have built a good enough reputation in the past few years to be trusted. Plus, having a respected figure at the top (and a smooth talker like him) is always better when they need to push DTS to make an effort when it's needed :D
