new some of you guys enjoy my work so thought I'd share this latest one:

Russell Westbrook: Losing Ain't An Option

(dunno why that 1st link isn't working)

happy with how this turns out, I'm not a massive fan of Westbrook but making this made me really appreciate his game.

Fixed the link for you Mike. Some links are secured, so you have to remove the "s" from http in order to make it work.

It's a cool mix. There were some sick dunks in the second half of the video. He's kind of a polarizing player. He catches a lot of flack and rightfully so for certain tendencies of his, but I feel that he gets underappreciated.

Thanks mk.

Yeah I appreciate more his intensity and passion to his game, as opposed to his 'unique' tendencies.

The guy is a one man fast break, probably the best part of his game, he goes out in transition at every oppurtunity. Still in the half-court, he is not an elite player, and that's probably his biggest detriment, but playing next to Durant and around shooters, it isn't really a big issue most of the time, and it is matchup and opposing defense dependent. His ability to penetrate and dish in the half-court though is very good and helpful, and he's constantly putting pressure won the defense which has it's own advantages.

If he further fine tunes his isolation and pick and roll game (he's at the bottom when we talk about elite PG's), it would actually be interesting to see how you contain him. It's sort of like his best attribute (herky jerky style) is his worst enemy (gets out of control, takes questionable shots). He's also a better spot up shooter than I feel he's given credit for, but his on ball stuff in the half-court is still very lacking for what we would consider an elite player.

Ginobili though is wild but was an excellent half-court player in his prime. Now of course, that's a hard player to compare to, but just making the point that even with a little wildness you can find ways to be wild and in control (oxymoron), more effective and therefore be a good half-court player.
