CLIPPERS TO HOLD TRAINING CAMP IN SAN DIEGO

The Los Angeles Clippers announced today they will hold training camp for the 2013-14 season on the campus of the University of California, San Diego. The team will travel to UCSD on Sept. 30th, following Media Day at the Clippers Training Center, and conduct practices at RIMAC Arena from Oct. 1st -5th, before returning to Los Angeles.

Media Day will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on the court at the Los Angeles Clippers Training Center (6951 S. Centinela Ave, Playa Vista, CA). All players and coaches will be available to the media for interview and photo opportunities. In addition, the team will be making a special announcement for the upcoming season. Stay tuned through Clippers social media for more updates as Media Day gets closer.

I wonder if there are some remaining Clipper fans in San Diego from the days when they used to play there. In the times I've visited, I haven't really noticed much of Clipper fan base there but maybe I'm wrong

Not to my knowledge. They'll be featured on NBA TV Real Training Camp on Friday at 10am (PDT).

Also, they're going to have a scrimmage that is open to STH's on the ninth at the Galen Center.
